About
Bryant Belarmino began teaching about mindfulness and meditation in 2022 as a student of Jack Kornfield’s and Tara Brach’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. He specializes in working with beginners and people in recovery from addiction.
His journey with mindfulness began in 2017 when he entered recovery for the first time. Refuge Recovery introduced him to buddhism, the dharma, and his practice. Since then, he’s helped open and facilitate meetings, mentor other people in recovery, and maintained his sobriety since September 19, 2018.
With the help of his practice and the support of family and friends, he’s rebuilt his career, ran multiple marathons, discovered the joys of hiking the peaks of Southern California, and has a new perspective on life.
He currently facilitates Recovery Dharma meetings in Los Angeles, volunteers with Strides in Recovery, and teaches mindfulness meditation for both the workplace and personal environments.
